Dr Steven Land recently won the Highly Commended Aesthetic Doctor of the Year award – from the Safety in Beauty campaign’s Diamond Beauty Awards.
Attending the award ceremony at London’s Montcalm – Marble Arch Hotel, he said, “I’m absolutely amazed to have won a Highly Commended award. It was an honour just to have been nominated and shortlisted, to win against such prestigious doctors is amazing”.
The overall Aesthetic Doctor of the Year award was won by industry veteran Dr Patrick Treacy – also in attendance at the glitzy Rainbow Ball held for the awards this year.
The Safety on Beauty awards pay particular attention to those promoting best and safest practice within the industry and those doctors and nurses going the extra mile to help patients who may have been mistreated elsewhere. Dr Land has helped many such patients this year and has been the subject of a number of local and national media articles calling for greater regulation in the aesthetics industry to try and reduce the number of problems we are seeing like this.
